About the Role
Responsibilities
- This role requires strong experience in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with a focus on data integrity, systems integration, and regulatory compliance.
- The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management including scope definition, work planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management, and project reporting.
- Maintaining accurate RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and budgets are key expectations.
- This position involves close coordination with teams across Compliance, Technology, AML Operations, Risk, and Product.
- Familiarity with AML regulatory requirements, FINTRAC expectations, and financial crime risk management practices is preferred. Prior experience with Oracle FCCM or similar AML solutions is an asset.
- The candidate must be highly proficient in executive communication—able to synthesize complex issues into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders and governance forums to support informed decision-making.
- Experience preparing materials for working groups and effectively managing stakeholder communication is essential.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) is required, along with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can operate independently, apply structured problem-solving, and drive execution within a high-governance environment.
