- Design beautiful interfaces for web and mobile digital products across different industries.
- Share and revise your designs based on internal feedback and feedback from our partners as well as UX research and best practices.
- Be involved in all aspects of product design, working closely with the team to execute the products efficiently.
- Create high fidelity designs and prototypes for new projects.
- Create a simple design system for new products.
- Create logos and branding materials for our partners.
- Occasionally create graphics, illustrations and social media assets internally for Speer and for our partners.
- Research and stay on top of new design trends and best practices
- Deliver design iterations that meet deadlines and product requirements.
- Take in constructive feedback and iterate to improve design concepts, aesthetic and usability.
- Present and deliver iterations to the team in the form of a sharable link, design files or prototypes.
- Take initiative to ask questions, research best practices and expose yourself to design resources available to you.
- Work with the development team during design handoff to insure pixel perfect execution of the design
- 2 years of experience with mobile and web design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or similar program or UX/UI certificate course.
- Experience using website building platforms like: Wordpress, Squarespace, Framer etc.
- Give and receive constructive feedback on your team’s work.
- Strong understanding of creating components and building and maintaining design systems in Figma.
- Stay organized and meet deadlines.
- Able to interact professionally with a diverse group of people.
- You have experience working with agile design processes, iterative prototyping.
- Comfortable using tools like Adobe XD, Ai, photoshop, sketch, invision etc.
- Strong wiliness to learn, ask questions, seek guidance from your peers and improve your skills.
- Strong understanding and execution of basic design principles.
- Enthused to work in an agile / high-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with initiative.
- Keep your skills up-to-date and make recommendations on best practices for user experience, accessibility and more.
- Effectively contribute suggestions and new ideas to improve the product’s design and usability.
- An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environment.
- A spirit of collaboration and transparent communication.
- A natural curiosity for new design trends, best practices and innovation.
- Team spirit and a sense of humour is always great.
- Experience or willingness to learn new skills like illustration, motion design, animation.
- Desire to think outside the box and push your design skills to the next level.
- Fluency in French is an asset.

- Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 a year
- Flexible language requirement: French not required
