Thrive Together.To learn more about who we are visit our website:  www.teranet.caAbout the RoleTeranet is currently looking for a Senior Product Analyst who will support the efforts of analyzing, reviewing, as well as evaluating system and customer needs performed by the Product Analyst. You will document product requirements, define the business’ scope and objectives in terms of the product, and comes up with systems that parallel the overall business strategies.You will work collaboratively with key project team members in defining product requirements, designing functional solutions for Teranet products, identifying and resolving project issues, as well as ensuring the solutions formulated meet requirements.What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Gather information from stakeholders to document functional, system, and/or data requirements. 
  • Articulate business, market, and user needs and justifications through the creation of user stories
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and technology assessments and create recommendations and feature definition to address market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members in the development of specifications to create unit and integrated test cases and assists in the analysis of results of unit and integration testing. 
  • Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and document high-level process maps to identify workflow optimization and client satisfaction improvement opportunities.
  • Perform system analysis for the design of enhancements to improve usability based on user feedback.
  • Provide support to the sales organization regarding sales demonstrations and any other assistance needed through the sales process.
  • Evaluates data formulated in conjunction with the Product Analyst and applies the results in influencing the direction of product offerings and business decisions.
  • Develop core data sets that promote accurate product analyses. Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports.
  • Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends. Measure the effectiveness of Teranet   product offering and strategies and rely findings to leadership team.
  • Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data, such as surveys, questionnaires, and opinion polls. Gather data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong technical, analytical, and development skills including the ability to provide solutions to a variety of business problems of complex scope and complexity.
  • Advanced facilitation skills to conduct and facilitate focused requirements analysis discussions.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Advanced knowledge of defining system and functional requirements.
  • Critical thinking skills to recommend original and productive ideas.
