Our Member Experience Team in Group Benefits is looking for a Junior Product Designer to support our Group Benefits business in Canada. As a Designer you'll get to be part of both the Group Benefits and Human Centered Design (HCD) Canada Team, where you'll work closely with a small, tight-knit group of Product Managers, Researchers, Strategists, Product Designers, Content Designers. We're big on collaboration, open communication and getting things done right. We're looking to build and grow alongside talented, ambitious people who are driven to create a positive impact on the lives of Canadians.

  

What you will do:

  • Create prototypes used by business stakeholders to showcase our products and experiences within and outside of Manulife
  • Work with business partners to gather requirements needed to stitch together rapid interactive prototypes helping to communicate compelling narratives for internal stakeholders as well as clients
  • Present work to different levels of leadership and iterate to feedback quickly
  • Support the HCD team in other initiatives within Group Benefits on an as needed basis (e.g. contributing to our Design System)

You’ll need to have:

  • Have recently graduated from a relevant design program
  • High level of proficiency in Figma including creating interactive prototypes
  • Experience designing adaptive and responsive mobile and web experiences
  • Experience working with other designers or product managers
  • Comfortable working directly with stakeholders and presenting work
  • Comfortable turning around deliverables in tight deadlines 
  • Bonus if you have experience writing and validating UX content

Salary range is expected to be between

$61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
