BAE is looking for an experienced Program Director to manage our Enterprise Digital Transformation Program. The role will report into our Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) Organization, with deep engagement with stakeholders across BAE Systems business sectors.
The candidate will have strong program management experience managing multiple concurrent programs and projects in alignment with an enterprise transformation strategy. The candidate will be leading programs and projects through all phases of the project lifecycle. Strong program / project management experience is required. Responsibilities and proficiencies expected include:
- Ability to articulate and hold members accountable to vision / mission of the transformation effort / redirect as required.
- Ability to influence in a large matrixed organization to complete tasks and prioritize critical activities
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and clearly
- Ability to apply creativity to complex problems and engage with value stream aligned delivery teams to make effective decisions
- Manage risk and opportunities effectively and understand where to place priority focus for mitigation / acceptance / deferral
- Generate data-driven insights and recommended actions to understand and optimize the complex relationship between technology investments, employee experience and business outcomes.
- Execute to portfolio governance framework keeping everyone informed and holding team accountable to commitments
- Demonstrated ability to listen and understand key messages being communicated, and adapt style and action plan accordingly
- Ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and regularly on progress, issues, risks, financials both written and verbal formats to executive audiences
- Organizational change management, communication, training, stakeholder engagement, enablement
- Monitor emerging technology trends and leverage analytics to ensure initiatives are driven by objective data.
- Willingness to confront complex issues and provide candid feedback to leadership.
The candidate shall be highly customer focused, meeting customer expectations and responsive to feedback. The ideal candidate will have experience in both IT and in leading complex business facing programs with the ability to drive technology adoption within BAE Systems business sectors. The candidate shall leverage servant leadership, emotional intelligence, strong communication and decision-making skills to navigate effectively across all functional areas and organizational levels.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 10 years work experience.
PMP Certification
Proven record of success leading complex, transformational programs
Effective design and development of P3 execution strategies
Hands-on experience with agile project execution, release agility, and value stream delivery models
Business and strategic plan development experience.
Project finance management experience.
Earned Value Management experience
Process development experience.
Executive level communication and presentation skills
Learning agility, relentless improvement mindset
Expertise in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
