Senior Project Manager – (FINTRAC Remediation)
Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project management including scope definition, work planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management, and project reporting. Maintaining accurate RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and budgets are key expectations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can operate independently, apply structured problem-solving, and drive execution within a high-governance environment.

10+ years of end-to-end project management including scope definition, work planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management, and project reporting
Previous experience in Maintaining accurate RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs and ensuring delivery against agreed timelines and budgets are key expectations.
- highly proficient in executive communication—able to synthesize complex issues into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders and governance forums to support informed decision-making
- Experience preparing materials for working groups and effectively managing stakeholder communication is essential.
- Ability to have close coordination with teams across Compliance, Technology, AML Operations, Risk, and Product.
- Familiarity with AML regulatory requirements, FINTRAC expectations, and financial crime risk management practices is preferred.
- Prior experience with Oracle FCCM or similar AML solutions is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) is required, along with proficiency in tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, PowerPoint, and Excel
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can operate independently, apply structured problem-solving, and drive execution within a high-governance environment.
