QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

- $31.00 - $34.47 per hour
- Post Secondary Education, Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred
- 3–5+ years in automotive quality systems (Tier 1 environment preferred)
- Proven experience with IATF 16949 and OEM customer requirements
- Strong working knowledge of Internal auditing practices, Core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans), BIQS framework and layered audits
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Red X preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit/reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and process focus
- Ability to identify systemic gaps and drive sustainable improvements
- Effective communicator with strong report-writing skills and high integrity and accountability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
MAIN DUTIES:
- Execute internal audits (system, process, product) aligned to IATF 16949 and Magna standards
- Maintain compliance to GM BIQS, Stellantis CQS, and other OEM-specific requirements
- Conduct Layered Process Audit (LPA) validation and effectiveness checks
- Support customer audits, IATF certification audits, and corporate assessments
- Document audit findings and lead/support structured problem solving (5-Why, 8D, Red X)
- Drive timely closure of corrective actions and verify effectiveness
- Escalate systemic risks impacting quality system performance
- Support Safe Launch, error-proofing (poka-yoke), and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain and improve QMS documentation (procedures, work instructions, audit standards)
- Ensure document control compliance per Magna and IATF requirements
- Support Management Review with audit results, trends, and KPI analysis
- Monitor key metrics, audit completion vs. plan, repeat findings / systemic issues
- Prepare clear, concise audit summaries for leadership and customer reviews
- Partner with Production Manufacturing, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Launch teams
- Provide support with BIQS/IATF expectations and audit readiness
- Perform other duties as assigned
