The Quality Systems Supervisor is responsible for supervising and maintaining the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and company policies. This position leads quality system activities, internal and external audits, corrective action programs, document control processes, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This summary is consistent with both internal quality-system roles and external quality-systems benchmarks. Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS). Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and company procedures. Plan, conduct, and support internal, customer, and third-party audits. Lead corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification. Manage document control processes, work instructions, procedures, and quality records. Monitor quality metrics and recommend improvements based on data analysis. Coordinate management review activities and quality reporting. Support launch activities, change management, and process validation efforts. Train employees on quality system requirements and procedures. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality issues.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality systems, or manufacturing quality.

- Experience with automotive quality standards preferred (IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D).

- Knowledge of auditing methods and quality management systems.

- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams and quality improvement initiatives.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
