The Real Estate Summer Student is responsible for supporting the North American Magna Real Estate Team on a wide variety of administrative tasks and special projects.
Major Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including organizing and maintaining electronic files, records, and correspondence.
- Review and summarize executed real estate documents, for example, leases, subleases, renewal agreements, etc.
- Assist in updating the department's real property database.
- Draft letters and other correspondence to landlords, governmental authorities, and other third parties, as necessary.
- Assist with project tracking for real estate transactions and construction projects.
- Coordinate with Groups, Divisions, and other corporate departments to obtain real estate documentation, close out projects, and assist on special projects, as necessary.

Your preferred qualifications
- Completion of at least one year of a university undergraduate or college diploma program (a program focused on law, real estate, or business administration/commerce would be an asset).
- Advanced computer skills employing a variety of software applications, including word processing (skill in database management would be an asset).
Work Environment
- Standard office environment.
Compensation
- This position offers an hourly wage of $20.00.
