About the Role
As a Sales Engineer , you'll play a pivotal role in the sales process, serving as the technical expert who understands customer needs and translates them into solutions using Closinglock's platform. You will work closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Product/Engineering teams to demonstrate our technology, assist with integrations, and ensure customers maximize the value of our solutions.
What You'll Do

  • Pre-Sales Support : Partner with the Sales team to provide technical expertise, demo our platform, and answer prospective client questions.
  • Solution Design : Work closely with clients to understand their workflows, identify challenges, and design tailored solutions using Closinglock's platform.
  • Implementation & Onboarding : Assist new customers with onboarding, API integrations, and best practices to ensure a smooth adoption process.
  • Technical Consultation : Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal teams, providing guidance on product capabilities, integrations, and optimizations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback and influence future development.
  • Training & Documentation : Develop educational resources, conduct training sessions, and create technical documentation to support customers.


What You Bring

  • 4+ experience in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consultant role (preferably in SaaS, FinTech, or PropTech).
  • Knowledge of the Real Estate or Title Industry highly preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience in APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • A customer-first mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and support tools is a plus.


Bonus: Familiarity with real estate transactions, title & escrow processes, or fraud prevention technology.
This is a full-time, in-person position in our Austin, TX office.
