THE OPPORTUNITY

Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors (BFSI) (German speaking)

Location: Germany

Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join our Commercial team, Germany.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving organic growth by exclusively acquiring net new, large enterprise customers within the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance sectors (BFSI). You will own the entire new business sales cycle, ensuring Iron Mountain’s solutions address complex client needs and significantly contribute to our revenue targets.

The Global Records and Information Management Organization (GRO) is a revenue-driving commercial organization dedicated to developing, selling, and supporting solutions that enable our customers to transform their business

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Lead New Logo Acquisition: Proactively identify, prospect, and secure net new enterprise clients within the defined priority sectors in Germany, owning the end-to-end sales cycle to consistently meet and exceed new business quota.

  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build deep, consultative relationships with C-level executives and key internal teams (e.g., Solutions, Operations) to translate complex client requirements into tailored, compelling value propositions and seamless solution delivery.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Experience: Proven track record of consistent new business acquisition and success in complex, large enterprise sales environments, acting as a "New Business Hunter".

  • Strategic Knowledge: Strong background in strategic new business hunting and a deep understanding of solution selling methodologies, with the capacity to think broadly and develop strategic account plans.

  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and influence trusted relationships with senior-level (C-suite) customer stakeholders and team effectively across all levels internally and externally.
