What's exciting about the role

The Senior Director of Brand and Content Marketing is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing the company’s brand and content marketing strategies to build brand equity, engage target audiences, and drive business outcomes. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, creative innovation, and operational excellence, overseeing a team of professionals to deliver impactful campaigns and content that resonate across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy and Management

  • Define and evolve the company’s brand strategy, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and market positioning.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of brand guidelines to maintain consistency in visual and verbal identity across all platforms.
  • Lead brand-building initiatives to enhance awareness, differentiation, and loyalty in target markets.

Content Marketing Leadership

  • Develop a comprehensive content marketing strategy that drives audience engagement, thought leadership, and lead generation.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, audience-centric content, including blogs, videos, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts.
  • Ensure the content strategy aligns with key business goals and brand messaging.

Campaign and Creative Oversight

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that elevate brand presence and drive measurable results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging and creative assets with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Partner with external agencies and vendors to deliver best-in-class creative outputs.

Performance Measurement and Optimization

  • Establish KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of brand and content marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly analyze performance metrics, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
  • Leverage data to make informed decisions and demonstrate ROI on marketing investments.

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of brand and content professionals.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability within the team.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across marketing, product, sales, and customer success to ensure alignment and amplify impact.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, content marketing, or related roles, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling brand strategies and content marketing initiatives.
  • Experience in Fintech.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills with a strong creative acumen.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, SEO, social media, and content distribution platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and optimize strategies.
  • Understanding of emerging marketing trends and technologies, especially generative AI.
