THE ROLE
The Senior Marketing Strategist is a full-time Zeta employee who operates as an embedded team member of a tech-forward financial services and credit solutions provider, Bread Financial. This role supports the delivery of best-in-class, branded marketing and loyalty strategies across multiple portfolios and channels. Leveraging data-driven insights and vertical expertise, the Sr. Marketing Strategist partners with the Marketing Manager to develop strategies for assigned market segments, brand partners, or verticals, and independently leads execution of those strategies. Together, the Sr. Marketing Strategist and Manager develop acquisition and cardholder marketing initiatives that drive sustainable, mutually beneficial growth in New Accounts, Accounts Receivable, Credit Sales, and Profit. The Sr. Marketing Strategist works closely with internal Zeta partners, Bread Financial stakeholders, and external agencies/vendors to develop, execute, and scale marketing programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the management of program strategy brief execution, participates in stakeholder meetings, and coordinates campaign analysis. Maintains the team’s marketing calendar and results tracker as needed. Strong task prioritization and coordination skills required. (35%)
- Leads execution of campaign strategies in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring campaigns launch on time, meet quality standards, and comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Reviews marketing collateral, manages timelines, and coordinates across a matrixed organization. (20%)
- Provides cost and revenue inputs to guide marketing investment decisions. Ensures campaigns align with strategic objectives and drive profitable use of marketing funds. (15%)
- Supports development of campaign performance reporting, continuous monitoring, and hindsight analyses. Compiles insights for sharing across internal and external stakeholders. (10%)
- Contributes to monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing planning for specific verticals/products. Identifies optimization opportunities, supports strategic initiatives, and manages marketing program execution. Coordinates meetings and reports on program results. (10%)
- Acts as a first line of defense for adherence to bank compliance standards related to capabilities and omni-channel materials. Supports implementation of required legal, compliance, and regulatory practices to reduce execution errors and mitigate risk. (10%)

SALARY RANGE
The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on location and experience.
