The Senior Sales Executive will develop and expand client accounts in the Korean chemical industry, focusing on UL's software, conducting presentations, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under minimal supervision, the Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for developing new accounts and expanding existing accounts and partnerships within an assigned geographic territory.
This role will primarily focus on promoting UL's industry-leading ULTRUS Chemical software tools and services, including the Chemical Safety Regulation Database (ULTRUS ChemAdvisor) and SDS Authoring Software (ULTRUS WERCS Studio), within the Korean chemical and related industries. Additionally, the position can leverage ULTRUS's comprehensive capabilities in sustainability to deliver added value to clients.
The Senior Sales Executive will report directly to the AP ULTRUS Chemical Sales Lead in China or Japan and collaborate closely with the software sales team to drive growth in the country's software market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifies and/or pursues prospects through various lead generated activities, including tradeshow, direct mailing, advertising, cold-calling, on key industry players and referral program.• Meets with prospects to understand their purchase decision makers, decision making process criteria, and their needs.• Develops sales presentations for potential new clients. Leads the sales presentations in support of growing the clientele for ULs services.• Responsible for meeting with and presenting to the highest profile/potential clients.• Provides value propositions, handles objections, prepares quotes, and closes sales by getting prospects' commitments.• Focus on customer satisfaction, account growth, and sustaining customer loyalty.• Identifies and resolves a wide range of issues with little or no supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Willing to learn and adaptable to a dynamic, startup-style business culture.
• University bachelor's degree or equivalent plus minimum 5 years of experience of sales
• Experienced executive in B2B software, consulting, digital and technical solution sales to end customer.
• Prior experience in software/solution/services sales to the Chemical or related industries required, ideally with competence in compliance and regulatory topics. (Preferred)
• Strong technical and business foundation, including formal account planning, sales strategy development, sales tracking, portfolio selling, and measurement.
• Requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or schedules to senior level management and customers.
• Verbal and written communication skills in both Korea and English.
• Business travel and work outside of the office required.
