About the role :

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer with a strong foundation in research-driven design. In this role, you’ll design end-to-end product experiences while also leading how our organization approaches user & customer research. You’ll establish research practices, tools, and resources that empower the team to learn from users more effectively. At the same time, you’ll stay hands-on as a designer, turning insights into flows, prototypes, and polished experiences.Part of a small, collaborative design team where each designer contributes to end-to-end product design while also leading in their area of specialty. This role has accountability to establish and lead our approach to customer and user research and insights. Where other team members are accountable for aspects such as design systems and visual patterns. Collectively, you’ll deliver thoughtful, consistent, and user-centered experiences that scale across our platform.
What you’ll do :

Lead Research Practices

  • Establish, document, and maintain research processes, tools, and best practices (e.g., usability testing, surveys, discovery frameworks).
  • Empower others (PMs, engineers, designers) to conduct lightweight studies by providing resources, templates, and guidance.
  • Facilitate or conduct key research activities (usability testing, discovery interviews, synthesis sessions) when deeper insights are needed.
  • Ensure research findings are shared in accessible, actionable ways across the org.

Design End-to-End Experiences

  • Translate user needs and insights into flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs.
  • Collaborate with the design system lead to ensure designs align with visual patterns, accessibility standards, and consistency across the platform.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers to bring designs from concept through implementation.

Advocate for the User

  • Champion user needs in product discussions, balancing them with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Translate insights into design opportunities that shape product direction.
  • Contribute to building a culture of research and user-centered design across teams.

What you need to perform in this role:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, focusing on building solutions that align with business needs.
  • A strong grasp of user-centered design (UCD) and expertise in a range of methodologies, including user research, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and heuristic analysis.
  • The ability to transform business strategy and user needs into effective UX/UI designs.
  • Great communication and people skills to collaborate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and vision are met.
  • A natural passion for solving user pain points through thoughtful design.
  • A balanced approach that combines analytical thinking with creative problem-solving.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to iterate on designs efficiently.
  • Pragmatic and collaborative approach to work effectively in a small team to maximise output and shared responsibilities.
