About the role.
As the Senior Manager of SAP Operational Reporting, you will be responsible for defining and executing the overarching data analytics and operational reporting strategy for SAP S/4 HANA and its associated platforms. This involves crafting a strategic vision that aligns with organizational goals and ensures the effective use of SAP technologies to drive actionable insights and operational reporting excellence.
Your leadership extends to engaging with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver data-driven solutions that support business objectives. You will work closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams, serving as a liaison to facilitate clear communication and successful project outcomes.
Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and oversight for training programs, promoting continuous improvement and skill development within the organization. Managing relationships with vendors and external consultants is also a key aspect of the role, ensuring that engagements are productive and aligned with strategic goals.
Success in this role requires the ability to drive decision-making within a matrix environment, coordinating efforts across multiple teams to achieve integrated and impactful analytics solutions.
What you'll be doing.
SAP Analytics Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and implement an enterprise-wide SAP analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, including cloud adoption and AI-driven analytics.
  • Implement predictive and prescriptive analytics encompassing SAP HANA, Fiori, Datasphere, BW with infusion of AI/ML models.
  • Enhance decision-making through real-time analytics, forecasting, and automation.

Business Intelligence & Reporting
  • Lead the development and enablement of S/4 Embedded Analytics, Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere, BW, reports, visualizations platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable insights.

SAP Upgrades & Digital Transformation
  • Lead cloud migration initiatives for analytics by utilizing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and hybrid architectures. Oversee the transition process to ensure minimal disruption and optimal performance during and after migration. Provide strategic direction to ensure the analytics environment fully leverages cloud capabilities.
  • Evaluate emerging SAP analytics technologies on a continuous basis. Assess new tools and methodologies, making informed recommendations to enhance the organization's reporting and analytics capabilities. Ensure that the analytics landscape remains innovative and aligned with industry advancements.
  • Regularly review system architecture and recommend enhancements to support evolving business needs and technology trends.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP innovations and trends. Proactively recommend adoption of new tools and best practices to ensure the analytics strategy remains competitive and robust.
  • Ensure seamless data integration across hybrid environments, including both on-premise and cloud-based systems to maximize reporting solutions.
  • Coordinate efforts to unify data flows and maintain consistency, supporting reliable and comprehensive analytics across platforms.

Data Analytics and Reporting:
  • Build, refine, and support a range of analytical models, dashboards, and reports by leveraging tools such as Embedded Analytics, Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere, BW/4HANA, and other related technologies to meet business requirements.
  • Apply predictive analytics, machine learning, and other advanced data science techniques to extract meaningful insights and deliver recommendations that drive business decisions.
  • Facilitate the delivery of analytics solutions by employing design thinking and user experience methodologies, while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency throughout all systems.

Collaboration and Training:
  • Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and external consultants to implement and optimize data analytics solutions.
  • Train end-users and teams on SAP analytics tools and best practices.

What you'll need to be successful.
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence, with at least 5 years focused on SAP S/4HANA.
  • Skilled in SAP Analytics tools: S/4 Embedded Analytics, Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Datasphere, BW, and HANA Modeling.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement) and their data structures.
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess substantial experience in overseeing large-scale SAP implementations and leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities are essential, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive organizational change, and deliver tangible results within fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are required, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including members of the McCain Senior Leadership Team.
  • Candidates must also exhibit strong stakeholder management abilities, adept presentation skills, and sound decision-making competencies.
  • The role demands robust project management expertise, coupled with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Applicants should be able to analyze complex data sets and leverage data-driven insights for decision making.
  • Experience working within both traditional and Agile project delivery frameworks is highly valued.
  • Relevant certifications in SAP technologies-such as Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, BW, or SAP S/4HANA modules-are preferred. A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is required.

Compensation Package : $146,200.00 - $195,000.00 CAD an nually + bonus eligibility
