As a Start-Up Project Manager, you will ensure that Baker Hughes maximizes its revenue, profit and cash collection opportunity by ensuring flawless execution, on time delivery, contract adherence and cash collection for assigned jobs.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating required job activities across organizational boundaries to ensure Baker Hughes executes the successful start-up of the ExxonMobil Uaru and Whiptail Assets, in line with customer expectations and contract terms and conditions.
  • Protecting the health and safety of our personnel and the environment.
  • Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes and cultural pillars
  • Ensuring the assigned contracts/quotes are fully understood and capitalized upon
  • Coordinating and monitoring all job activities as outlined in MTJC across organizational boundaries
  • Escalating any issues that can impact service delivery
  • Ensuring invoices are in line with contract agreements, with no revenue leakage and timely collection of cash
  • Operating with an initial focus with the ExxonMobil teams based in Houston, and long-term expectation to oversee the field start-up and transition to the local Service Delivery Team

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have a bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or high school diploma/GED and equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree)
  • Have substantial operational / technical knowledge from time spent in the field
  • Have experience leading teams through project assignments
  • Have previous customer service experience, especially regarding escalation processes.
  • Have Project Management experience (certification preferred)
  • Travel frequently between work locations (can involve international travel)
