We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a UI/UX Designer- Front End for our Brampton, ON office.
Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design
- Deliver engaging design concepts and lead workshops on personas, journeys, and experience mapping.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to refine user requirements.
- Convert ideas into wireframes, flows, sitemaps, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Design clean, functional, and visually engaging UIs across web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- Conduct usability testing, interviews, and apply insights to improve user experience.
- Lead UX research, craft information architectures, and define seamless navigation flows.
- Apply advanced visual design principles—typography, layout, color theory—for responsive, accessible UIs.
- Use industry-standard tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Axure, Framer, UXPin, Balsamiq.
Front-End Development
- Build performant UIs with React, React Native, and Next.js.
- Develop responsive layouts using Tailwind CSS and manage state with Redux.
- Write modular, scalable code in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver accessible, production-grade interfaces.
- Implement auth flows with JWT, Azure AD, or Auth0.
- Ensure cross-platform optimization and consistent performance.
- Conduct UI-focused code reviews, testing, and iterative debugging.
- 5+ years in UI/UX design for web and mobile platforms.
- 3+ years in front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Strong in React, React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, Redux, Tailwind CSS.
- Skilled in prototyping tools: Adobe XD, Sketch, UXPin, Zeplin, Figma.
- Proficient with secure front-end auth (JWT, Azure AD, Auth0).
- Basic backend understanding: Node.js, Express, or NestJS.
- Experience building mobile-first and accessible UIs.
- Familiarity with Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Hosting).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Angular, Jest, Cypress.
- Familiar with CI/CD, Docker, and deployment pipelines.
- Active GitHub/open-source contributions.
- Solid HTML5, CSS3, and performance optimization knowledge.
