HostedBizz, an Ottawa company offering cloud-based IT services, announced its upcoming rebrand to Opti9 Technologies, slated for January 2025. Opti9 acquired HostedBizz in May 2022, and the two companies have since conjoined their operations, blending their teams, resources and platform features.
Opti9 offers hybrid cloud solutions to organizations in industries like healthcare, government, finance and retail to help them modernize their applications. The company focuses on digital transformation, data storage, DevOps, compliance-driven migration and similar areas.
HostedBizz provides businesses like Mitel, Tantalus, Zycom and Toshiba with an infrastructure-as-a-service platform. Its offering encompasses solutions for data backup, disaster recovery and cybersecurity services. The company leverages enterprise-grade cloud services to ensure businesses have more scalability and less vulnerability than they would with physical infrastructure.
In collaboration with Opti9, HostedBizz has enhanced its service offerings, expanded its global data center footprint and delivered increased value to customers and partners. Following the rebrand, customers will continue to receive service enhanced by Opti9’s broadened capabilities.
“We are thrilled to officially rebrand HostedBizz as Opti9. This milestone reflects our commitment to unifying our efforts and offering an even more robust suite of services to our clients,” Jim Stechyson, president of HostedBizz, said in a statement. “The future is exciting as we continue to grow and expand our presence in hybrid cloud solutions. Our combined strengths will allow us to deliver unparalleled value, innovation and customer service to our clients.”
