The ideal candidate will bring organization, attention to detail and enthusiasm to the growing Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who wishes to grow and contribute within a high-growth SaaS organization.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the monthly financial statement reporting process in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States (US GAAP). Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting standards.
  • Monitor and analyze business KPIs to support decision-making, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve the company's financial performance.
  • Manage the company's cash position. Implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
  • Support the FP&A team for monthly forecasting and investor reporting. 
  • Supervise, coach and continue to build & hire on the accounting team.
  • Lead the annual income tax returns with external tax accountants.
  • Lead R&D credits and grants application process by collaborating with the Engineering team and external consultants.
  • Lead the year-end financial audit with external auditors.
  • Assess and manage financial risks. Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability, including the implementation of new systems such as an ERP and sales tax solutions.
  • Act as a business partner across departments by providing financial insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.

About you:

  • At least 8 years in an accounting environment.
  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter that is comfortable working with minimal oversight and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Strong MS Word and Excel skills.
  • English: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
