Strategic Financial Partnership & Growth Enablement

  •  Collaborate closely with department heads to design and refine budgets that ensure every dollar spent directly enhances profitability and resource allocation
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, empowering leadership with intelligence for informed, data-driven decisions on agency performance and strategic direction
  •  Provide critical financial analysis and support for new business development, helping evaluate opportunities and structure profitable, sustainable deals

Process Innovation & Operational Excellence

  •  Design and champion financial policies and controls that streamline operations, enhance transparency, and ensure robust financial integrity across all agency functions
  •  Develop and implement standardized, agile workflows for all finance operations, identifying bottlenecks and building solutions that optimize our financial engine
  •  Create and refine financial tracking methods tailored specifically to marketing agency nuances, capturing every detail relevant to client work and campaign performance

Hands-On Financial Operations & Oversight

  •  Own the end-to-end project accounting lifecycle—from initial scoping and budget setup to real-time tracking and final reconciliation, ensuring precise profitability analysis for every client campaign and retainer. Navigate retainer management and client billing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication that strengthens client relationships
  • Deliver rigorous financial oversight for all media buying activities, ensuring optimal budget utilization, accurate vendor reconciliation, and real-time performance tracking against campaign KPIs
  • Managing and processing AR & AP. Run payment based on schedule.
  • Quickly and effectively resolve operational financial issues, turning challenges into opportunities for process improvement

Compliance, Controls & Risk Mitigation

  •  Ensure unwavering regulatory compliance across all financial activities
  • Oversee tax compliance processes and coordinate external audits with precision
  • Maintain and continuously strengthen internal controls, safeguarding financial accuracy and asset integrity
  • Strategically manage agency cash flow and working capital, identifying opportunities to maximize liquidity while supporting operational needs and growth initiatives
  • Additional tasks assigned by manager.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, ACCA) highly preferred
  • Marketing agency or project-based accounting experience strongly preferred

Technical Expertise:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel and advanced financial software, QB online etc.
  • Proven experience with client billing, retainer management, and media buying financial intricacies
  • Experience with project-based accounting systems (Function Point) and profitability analysis
