Responsibilities :

  • Draft and revise legal documentation, including demand letters, procedures and any other relevant documents;
  • Monitor and update, with external firms, the various internal and public registers for Intelcom and its subsidiaries relating to intellectual property, list of directors and officers, transport permits, company registers, etc;
  • Ensure communications with the various players in the legal system; 
  • Ensure the management of judicial deadlines and the follow-up of litigation files;
  • Organize the classification and management of litigation documentation;
  • Update the litigation register; 
  • Carry out miscellaneous research, particularly in the docket; 
  • Manage the classification of legal department files; 
  • Manage invoicing (accounts receivable with external firms, monitoring of work-in-progress summary, coordination of invoice approval process, etc.).

Qualifications :

  • Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in paralegal techniques (or equivalent);
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in civil, commercial and labor litigation, as well as in corporate law;
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills; 
  • Customer-oriented, team-oriented “business partner” mindset, demonstrating the ability to work closely and develop strong relationships with people at all levels; 
  • Motivated, confident and professional attitude; 
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, under pressure and to manage multiple competing priorities; 
  • Fluently bilingual (French/English), both spoken and written.
