Sous la responsabilité parajuriste principal, le parajuriste soutiendra l'avocat et les autres membres du personnel juridique en effectuant une variété d'activités juridiques corporatives, commerciales et administratives.
Principaux domaines de responsabilité

Rédiger, réviser et émettre des accords de projet et des documents associés. Cela comprend, sans s'y limiter

Demander et examiner les certificats d'assurance,

Demander des garanties de paiement, de performance et de retenue de garantie pour les projets,

Rédiger et émettre des contrats de projet et des contrats de sous-traitance sur la base de modèles juridiques,

Examiner les ordres de modification,

Coordonner les approbations et les signatures des documents

Délivrer des garanties pour les projets achevés.

Soutenir les membres de l'équipe juridique et les questions juridiques en cours, telles que les projets et les litiges. Assurer l'organisation et le suivi adéquat des questions juridiques en suspens. Communiquer avec les clients et assurer la liaison avec l'équipe de gestion de projet, le cas échéant.

Maintenir, organiser et demander les nombreuses licences commerciales de l'entreprise aux États-Unis et au Canada.

Gérer et classer la correspondance et les documents juridiques dans la base de donnée (ProjectMates).

Gérer les détails des véhicules de flottes de l'entreprise, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, les immatriculations des véhicules, les certificats d'assurance, les titres de propriété, les documents d'achat des véhicules et les autorisations de l'entreprise.
Formations et qualifications

DEC ou autres diplômes en études parajuridiques

1 à 3 ans d'expérience pertinente

Expérience et connaissance des contrats, des termes juridiques et des activités quotidiennes d'un service juridique ;

Tarkett Sports has a great opportunity for a Paralegal to join our talented team in Montreal. Reporting directly to the Senior Paralegal, the paralegal will support counsel and other legal personnel by performing a variety of corporate, commercial, and administrative legal activities.

What this role will be responsible for:

Draft, review, and issue project agreements and associated documents. This includes but is not limited to:

Requesting and reviewing insurance certificates,
-
Requesting payment, performance, and retainage bonds for projects,
-
Drafting and issuing project contracts and subcontracts based on legal templates,
-
Reviewing change orders,
-
Coordinating document approvals and signatures,
-
Issuing warranties for completed projects.

Support legal team members and ongoing legal matters, such as projects and litigation. Ensure organization and proper follow-up on open legal matters. Communicate with customers and liaise with project management team, as needed.

Maintain, organize, and apply for the company's numerous business licenses in the US and Canada.

File correspondence and legal documents in office and electronic filing system; manage contract database (ProjectMates).
-
Manage corporate vehicle fleet details, including, but not limited to, vehicle registrations, insurance certificates, vehicle titles, vehicle purchase documents, and corporate authorizations.
Education & Experience:

DEC or equivalent in Paralegal Studies
-
1 to 3 years of pertinent experience
-
Experience and knowledge of contracts, legal terms, and day-to-day operations of a legal department;
-
Legal administrative skills;
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);

Experience with SharePoint, Salesforce (CRM) ConvergePoint (Contract management tool) would be an asset.
