Fullscript, a healthcare platform headquartered in Ottawa, announced its acquisition of Rupa Health, a company that helps practitioners order specialty lab tests. The move will enable Fullscript to expand its platform and provide a comprehensive solution for whole-person healthcare.

Rupa Health allows health practitioners to order and track more than 3,000 lab tests from a single interface. It also provides results management and patient communication tools to tens of thousands of clinics across the U.S. while also offering an educational platform focused on whole-person care. Through all of these products, Rupa Health aims to simplify access to various diagnostic tools and allow practitioners to deliver more personalized care.

Fullscript offers a sustainable care experience platform to over 100,000 providers and 10 million patients. The company recently launched the beta version of its Fullscript Labs offering, which is designed to help practitioners gather, analyze and action data when combined with the company’s treatment planning solutions for supplementation, wellness products and lifestyle interventions.

“Rupa Health…has become the preeminent site where practitioners streamline their labs and lab ordering workflows,” Kyle Braatz, Fullscript’s co-founder and CEO, said in a statement. “This combination represents a significant step forward to achieving our collective goal. Together, we will offer the most comprehensive clinical platform where all practitioners…have the infrastructure, information and decision-support tools needed to practice whole-person medicine.”
